Originally from Utah, Crumbl Cookies will be expanding to the south and opening a brand new location in Tuscon.
The national gourmet cookie restaurant has struck a deal to lease approximately two thousand square feet at Tucson's Oracle Crossings Shopping Center, at 7805 North Oracle Road. Plans call for a grand opening this coming autumn.
“We are excited to bring Crumbl to Oro Valley and hope the local residents love these cookies as much as we do,” Jason McGowan, the company's CEO and co-founder, told Tucson Real Estate.
Part of the restaurant's charm is that the cookies are baked out in the open, so customers can watch their snacks being made right in front of them. Another main draw of Crumbl Cookies is its versatility. The restaurant features a quartet of new special flavors each week, and offers a variety of options for customers to obtain their treats that range from delivery, curb side pickup or in store takeout.
With its move to Tucson, the franchise continues its rapid expansion across the United States. On New Year's Eve of 2019, Crumbl Cookies had less than 80 store locations. That number more than doubled in 2020, and the company's expansion to Arizona hints that their expansion efforts may not be done yet.
