First opened as a Motor Court (Motel) in 1938, Monterey Court was repurposed in 2011 as an entertainment venue with stage presentations, excellent foods and a wide range of drink options. Since that opening more than a decade ago, Monterey Court has presented more than 3,500 stage performances of music, magic and other types of entertainment from local, national and even some international performers.
The original rooms (casitas), which were placed around a central courtyard, are now home to 12 artisan businesses including glass & jewelry artists, tattoo artists, musical, poster, crystal and paper art galleries, hair salons, and unique women's fashion.
Monterey Court offers table seating for 245 patrons, with an additional seating of 50 or so at the bar and some other seats around the venue. Operating hours are: Tues-Wed: 4-9 PM; Thur-Sat 11AM to 10PM; and Sun 9AM-9PM.
