Colonia Allegre is a central Tucson neighborhood of older single-family homes located in the heart of Tucson.
Located just behind the commercial businesses along East Broadway Boulevard, Colonia Allegre is bordered to the East and West by South Swan and South Columbus Boulevards, respectively. East 16th Street roughly forms the southern border of Colonia Allegre.
In addition to being convenient to everything in downtown Tucson, Colonia Allegre also has Linden Park in the middle of the neighborhood and is a very short drive to Reid Park and the zoo as well as Randolph Dell Urich Golf Course. It's only few minutes west to UofA and I-10 access.
On average, homes in the neighborhood were built in the 1950s and are on smaller urban lots of up to one-third of an acre. Homes average approximately 1,500 square feet.
