El Dorado Hills is an older, established neighborhood located in east Tucson near Dorado Golf Course at East Speedway Boulevard and North Kolb Road.
The single-family home community of El Dorado Hills was built in the 1960s on small lots of up to one-quarter of an acre. Most of the homes are single story and have car ports or attached garages.
Downtown Tucson and UofA are only 10-15 minutes west of El Dorado Hills. Speedway Boulevard offers a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment amenities.
The neighborhood is served by the Tucson Unified School District schools of Hudlow Elementary; Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet; and Palo Verde High schools.
