Going from drab to dream can be done via a Homestyle Renovation Mortgage available to those who qualify.  It provides a convenient way to make renovations, repairs, or improvements totaling up to 50% of the as-completed value of the property with a first mortgage, rather than a second mortgage, home equity line of credit, or other, more costly financing methods.  This option enables borrowers/buyers to obtain a purchase transaction mortgage and receive funds to cover the costs of repairs, remodeling, renovations, or energy improvements to the property!  This program can be used for owner-occupied residences, second homes, or investment properties.  Low down payment of 5% is available.  Loan is based on as-completed value of the property.  15 and 30 year amortizations are available.
