Eegee's, the Tucson area chain restaurant that specializes in sub sandwiches and its frozen fruit drink that bears its namesake, will be opening up a pair of new stores within the next few weeks.
One of the new locations will be at The Landing, a retail area situated at Interstate 19 and Irvington Road. This location will feature a 2,200 square foot store complete with a dining area, drive through window and a separate walk up window to order take out, and an additional, distinctive drive through area that will solely serve its famous Eegee drinks.
The second new location will be situated in the eastern part of town, at the intersection of Tanque Verde Road and Bear Canyon Road. This store will include a slightly large store, a 2,680 square foot structure that features an in-store dining area and one drive through window.
The introduction of the two new locations is just the latest expansion for Eegee's. The Arizona chain has already expanded beyond its original footprint in Tucson by opening a store in Casa Grande, and will now have 26 different stores to sell its trademark drinks.
The opening of the new stores also brings new jobs to the Tucson retail sector. Anybody wishing to apply can do so by visiting eegees.com/careers.
