Historic Fourth Avenue in Tucson has an eclectic collection of enterprises from food and drinks to craft boutiques. Twice a year they host their Spring or Winter Street Fair, with the Avenue closed and lined with vendors of every offering imaginable.
Located near Downtown , Historic Fourth Avenue is its own neighborhood, and is also close to the Ironhorse, West University and Dunbar/ Spring neighborhoods.
Among the offerings on the several block long area are restaurants, bars, clothing stores, bookstores, craft boutiques, and a real record store.
Events over the course of the year include the Spring Street Fair, Winter Street Fair, GABA Bike Swap, Return of the Mermaids and Halloween on Fourth. Related to the businesses on Fourth Avenue and their sponsors is the Fourth Avenue Non-Profit Foundation, which works to improve the functions and aesthetic values of the district and surrounding neighbors, commercial and residential.
