An Amazing Air and Space Collection in Tucson

Originally established in May 1976, the Pima Air and Space Museum features over 400 aircraft, from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner. All of these aircraft are displayed either outdoors or in large indoor hangars. Pima Air and Space Museum is the largest non-government funded aviation museum in the country. Pima Air and Space Museum is also home to the Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame Museum and will be home to the new Tucson Military Vehicle Museum upon its completion.

Museum Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday - Sunday Last Admissions at 3:00 pm Museum Hangars close at 4:30 pm

Group ticket rates are available for adult, school and youth groups. Docent narrated tram tours of the museum grounds cost an additional $8 per person, available Thursday through Sunday. Children under 2 are consider “Lap” riders and go free

Tickets are not sold in advance and must be purchased on arrival. Admission prices start at $18.50 for one day and $24.00 for two days (highly recommended.) But there is a pretty long list of discounts ranging from seniors, Pima County residents, children, etc. Also, note that two day tickets do not need to be used on consecutive days. Leashed pets are welcome. All hangars are wheelchair friendly (polished concrete) but some hard packed dirt/loose gravel outside areas may be a bit difficult for thin wheeled vehicles. Pima Air and Space Museum does not have wheelchairs available.
