This is a beautiful, quaint taproom in the center of historic downtown Tucson with a gorgeous original mural from Kirkendall Shoe that brings warm history and a cozy ambiance. It's a perfect place to have an intimate gathering with friends, meet fellow beer lovers, and enjoy live music that fills the room with energy and connection.
Starting out on Plumer Avenue in 2014, in a tiny little two unit “storage unit” looking store front, this enterprise has really spread its wings. While working on the big move to the new homestead at 18th Street and the Nogales train tracks in the historic Armory District, Iron John’s Brewing Company opened a taproom downtown on Congress Street. At some point, that Congress Street Taproom became a highly successful element of the downtown scene.
From their website (https://www.ironjohnsbrewing.com/) you will find that they offer 12 taps of their local, small batch brewsd, plus live music, live sports, snacks, games, cider, hard seltzer, wine, soda and Topo Chico . For those wise enough not to drive (okay, not try to park downtown) Iron John’s Brewing Company’s Congress Street Taproom also offers Street Car Access, bike racks on Congress St, and usually access to those cute little electric scooters.
