1912 Brewing Company was born out of home brewers Alicia and Allan’s garage dating back to 2004. The name,1912 Brewing Company, stems from the year Arizona became a state. The business dates back to 2015.
As natives of this unique state they wanted to intertwine aspects of Arizona into their brewery and products. This is done by using local ingredients in the beers, showcasing local beer and wine, and working extensively with local charities and artists including painters, photographers, musicians, and last but not least the talented group of food trucks Tucson has to offer. 1912 Brewing shows particular love and respect for our veterans and active military.
1912’s tap room is welcoming and laid back. Enjoy one of the 18-20 beers on tap, wine in cans or bottles, cider, mead, seasoning topped popcorn, and locally made chips & salsa or one of the 9” or 12” “made-in-Italy pizzas” while sitting at that beautiful copper bar, one of many 4-6 person tables or, weather permitting, their field expedient outdoor patio. Stop in and relax while drinking your beer, playing a game of checkers/chess or a game of darts while hanging with family or friends. Also available are various board games, Jenga towers, darts and shuffleboard. Be sure to check their events and Facebook page for upcoming brews and collaborations!
Regular patrons have the option to join the Copper Tankard Society. For either an annual or lifetime membership fee, members get a 22 ounce tankard of their favorite beer for the price of the regular 16 ounce pint, and occasional specials.
1912 Brewing Taproom has 20 + Taps of various beer styles, Blondes, Red Ales, India Pale Ales, Sours/Goses, Stouts and even Barrel-Aged beers. They are most known for Sours and Goses, which has an intentionally acidic, tart, or sour taste. 1912 also creates a variation within the style itself, from heavily fruited and sweet like the Baya Gose, to dry and smooth, like the Oeste, using flavors indicative to Tucson.
