Enjoy The Arizona Territory: Re-Opened Old Tucson Theme Park

Journey into a western town in the Arizona Territory during the 1800s. Experience live-action cowboy gun fights, death defying stunts, and join the search for the missing gold. There are three varieties of shows performed at Old Tucson. There is a rousing musical revue in the Grand Palace. Out in the streets you will be privy to an old west gunfight. And over at the mission, actors perform death defying stunts.

Old Iron Door Gold Mine-Many decades ago, gold was discovered here. But year after year the Iron Door Gold Mine continues to cave in. As the years pass, gold-hungry explorers attempt to discover the missing gold. However, many who explore the mine searching for their fortunes never return. Those who live never dare to enter again. The truth behind what is truly down in this mine is unknown and might stay that way forever. If you’re lucky enough to make it out alive then maybe you will discover what is truly hidden in the depths.

Blacksmith-Watch as their talented Blacksmith creates candle stick holders, horseshoes, and other decorative items over a coal fire pit in the style of the 1800s. Items created by this skilled blacksmith will be available for purchase in The Last Outpost.

Silver Lake Gold Panning*-Learn how to pan for gold at this authentic western-style water mill. And find out if you have what it takes to be a gold miner!

Shooting Gallery-Enjoy Free Play at the laser gun shooting gallery. Hit the target to gain points, knock ‘em dead partner!

Western Games-Enjoy classic western carnival games, Milk Bottle Toss, Horseshoe, Ski Ball, Tic-Tac-Toe and Ring Toss.

Petting Zoo-Pet and feed lovable farm animals from western ranches and meet the baby bottle-fed cow.

Rides- Ride the train, horse pulled wagon rides, and a historic carousel.

Old Tucson also offers six historical exhibits, from school house to jail house.

 

Old Tucson offers a variety of Food: Big Jake’s and Cowboy Cafe serve burgers and bar-b-que, the Creamery offers a variety of dairy desserts, The Elixir has jerky, fruit or chocolate with nuts, and cookies. The Grand Palace serves up a selection of snacks (popcorn, pretzels, pickles, etc., and Rosa’s specializes in Mexican themed foods.

Old Tucson strongly recommends you buy tickets online, in advance. Tickets may be available at the entrance, but they cannot guarantee availability for walk ups. Adult tickets (12 and up) are $34; children 5-11 are $17, and youngsters 0-4 are admitted free. Old Tucson offers $5 off admission for active duty military and first responders. Hours of operation for Old Tucson are 10:30AM to 5PM, Thursdays through Sundays, from January 26 to May 7, 2023.
