Pickleball is the hottest thing going in Tucson, and pretty much everywhere else. Tucson has a new upscale place to play the game, grab some good grub, and have a drink or two. If you have been out in the desert for the last year or so, pickleball is a sport that is sort of a cross between tennis, ping pong and badminton. You can play it as easy or as hard as you want. This is one of those games that seems to cross all generations.
Recently opened, Corbett’s is located at one of the most historic addresses in Tucson. Enjoy delicious food from Chef Omar Huerta at the restaurant, listen to live music 7 days a week, play pickleball with friends on one of 5 courts (2 are inside the Historic Corbett Building!), and enjoy a beverage or snack in the beer garden!
Play 1-on-1, 2-on-2, or create your own mini-tournament! Book your pickleball fun on one of the 5 courts, two inside the Historic Corbett Building and three outside. Grab a beer and go play!
Parking is more than adequate (unless there might be a tournament going on) with an antique car parked in the lot for interest.
On their website at https://corbettstucson.com/ you can check out their menu, order food to go or reserve a pickleball court. Corbett’s is a very spacious operation, with the already mentioned pickleball courts, an outdoor lounge with cushioned seating and picnic tables, a large beer garden with four place tables and an indoor restaurant. Spacing between tables is generous, so you needn’t feel crowded. Music plays at a comfortable volume.
Located at 340 N. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85705 Corbett’s is in the vicinity of the West University, Pie Allen, Historic Fourth Avenue and Downtown neighborhoods.
